Keanu Arcadio
My practice is of all mediums. I choose the appropriate medium to articulate what I need to say. But it is video and sculpture that dominate my practice.
My practice is about symbols, translation, motion and the human spirit. I explore these matters through social, political, literary, poetic lenses.
I approach art with the faculty of Coltrane to Jazz, Wenders to film, Nauman to People, Hozler to language.
Everything I create derives from three points. Either: A social-philosophical investigation, a challenge to/ with art history, or, I am expressing things: matters, or, emotions.
Millennial, British-Filipino, flexible artist.
Born in 1996, London.
